At the Kasbah du Toubkal, dining is a true Berber experience, offering wholesome, locally sourced meals prepared by skilled chefs. The charming dining room, reminiscent of a traditional home, features low tables, candlelight, cosy sofas and cushions.Set menus for lunch and dinner change with the seasons, and they happily cater to vegetarians. If you have dietary preferences, you can let them know upon arrival. In warm weather, meals are served on their stunning rooftop terrace with breathtaking views.Each morning, enjoy a delightful breakfast with fresh bread, homemade yoghurt, Berber pancakes, seasonal fruits and more, served in the dining room or on the terrace.

Kasbah du Toubkal is committed to responsible tourism, ensuring that its presence benefits both the environment and the local community. From its inception, the project has followed a sustainable approach by involving local artisans, using traditional materials and employing staff from nearby villages.Recognised with a Green Globe award for sustainable tourism, the Kasbah actively supports environmental conservation and community development. A key initiative is its partnership with <a href="https://www.efamorocco.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Education for All</a>, a charity providing scholarships and boarding for girls from remote villages.&nbsp;To further these efforts, a five per cent fee is added to each guest's final invoice, contributing to the <a href="https://www.kasbahdutoubkal.com/sustainability/village.html" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank" style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Village Association</a> program, which funds vital local projects and helps preserve the beauty of the High Atlas. Meet the People

Mike founded Discover Ltd in 1978, making it one of Morocco’s top educational tour companies. In 1990, Discover acquired a ruined Kasbah in Imlil, High Atlas, restoring it into Kasbah du Toubkal, which opened in 1995 and became an award-winning hotel. Committed to sustainable development, the Kasbah introduced a unique five per cent guest levy to fund local projects. In 2006, Mike co-founded Education For All (EFA) to provide boarding for girls from remote villages, enabling them to continue secondary education. In 2019, he received an MBE from Prince Harry for his work in gender equality. His dedication to education, sustainability and community development is an inspiration to many people.
