In the surrounding waters, pods of critically endangered Irrawaddy Dolphins have been spotted. With some luck and patience, you may catch a glimpse of these fascinating animals during your stay.

At low tide, the rock pools provide an excellent opportunity to observe marine life up close. If you are curious about what you find, Cempedak staff are available to help identify different species or even guide you on a nature walk, pointing out key plants and animals along the way.
