Enjoy Delicious Americana Food at The Warming Hut

Eating at The Warming Hut is a great part of the Mammoth experience. From the moment you step into The Warming Hut, you’ll feel right at home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a friendly staff ready to serve you fresh, authentic food at an affordable price. The emphasis here is on quality and taste, with every dish prepared with care and attention to detail. It's a place where you can relax and enjoy a hearty breakfast, a delicious lunch, a lively happy hour or a comforting home-cooked dinner.

For breakfast, you can't go wrong with their pancakes served with Jake’s Family 100 per cent pure maple syrup. This syrup, tapped straight from Vermont trees and bottled right in Mammoth Lakes, adds a special taste to every bite. Be sure to grab a bottle to take home as a sweet reminder of your visit.

Lunch and dinner offer a variety of mouth-watering options. If you’re a fan of sandwiches, their reuben is a must-try. The slow-cooked corned beef, made in-house, is tender and flavourful, perfectly paired with sauerkraut, gruyere Swiss cheese and house-made thousand island dressing, all sandwiched between two slices of grilled rye bread. It’s so good, it might just be the best reuben this side of the Mississippi.

Another standout is the mountain Cuban. This sandwich takes a classic to new heights with slow-cooked corned beef, thinly sliced ham, dill pickles, dijon mustard and gruyere Swiss cheese grilled on a brioche bun. The combination of flavours is simply irresistible, making it a favourite among regulars.

Beyond the food, The Warming Hut is a place to unwind and enjoy the company of friends and family. The casual, laid-back vibe invites you to hang out, savouring good food and great conversations.

  • “The building would have been enough. What we did not expect was how much of the day the staff quietly built around what we said at breakfast.”
