Ride the 120-year Legend Star Ferry of Victoria Harbour

Ride the 120-year Legend Star Ferry of Victoria Harbour

Step onto the Star Ferry that has crossed Victoria Harbour for more than 120 years. The short journey links Kowloon and Hong Kong Island, but it also lets you see how the city has grown from historic waterfronts to today’s skyline. As the ferry moves across the harbour, you’ll watch layers of Hong Kong’s story unfold in front of you.

The Fleming’s design draws from this ferry’s shape and colours, so the experience feels connected the moment you board. It’s a great way to understand the city’s visual culture and its long-standing daily commute.

Explore Hong Kong’s Rich Past on the Wan Chai Heritage Trail

Explore Hong Kong’s Rich Past on the Wan Chai Heritage Trail

Join the Wan Chai Heritage Trail to explore one of Hong Kong’s most layered neighbourhoods. You’ll move through streets shaped by old buildings, long-standing local communities and small businesses that define daily life here. The trail highlights architectural and cultural landmarks that show how Wan Chai evolved into today’s maze of narrow lanes, colourful facades and busy markets.

The route is divided into two overlapping loops and you can walk them together or one after the other. Follow the suggested loop to focus on architecture first, then culture and pick up stories and small details that help you understand the neighbourhood’s past and present.

Hike the Dragon’s Back Trail Above Hong Kong’s Coastline

    Host • The Fleming

Hike the Dragon’s Back Trail Above Hong Kong’s Coastline

From The Fleming, you can head to the southeastern side of Hong Kong Island for the Dragon’s Back hike, one of the city’s most well-known coastal trails. You’ll follow a steady path up a forested slope that leads to the Dragon’s Back Viewing Point, where you’ll get wide views of Shek O, Tai Long Wan and the rugged coastline.

The trail mixes paved sections with exposed rocks and roots, keeping the walk varied and engaging. Dragon-marked checkpoints guide your way as you move from busy streets into open countryside. The route ends at Big Wave Bay, giving you the chance to cool off at a small, laid-back beach.

From guests of the house

What they found

  • “We booked a room and got a household. By the second morning the kitchen knew how we took our coffee and had opinions about where we should walk.”

  • “The building would have been enough. What we did not expect was how much of the day the staff quietly built around what we said at breakfast.”

  • “Everything was arranged before we asked, and nothing felt arranged. That is a hard thing to get right and they get it right.”
