You’ll decide how far to go and how long to remain on the water, depending on conditions. Suitable for beginners and experienced paddlers, this activity offers practical time outdoors without complicated planning.

Head out to fish across private lakes, ponds and a managed stretch of the Flint River during your time at Quercus. A guide meets you to explain local species, seasonal conditions and suitable techniques before you begin. Equipment is arranged in advance, including rods, tackle and bait suited to current conditions. You’ll fish from the bank or use a small boat, depending on water levels and preference.

Beginners receive clear instruction, while experienced anglers can refine casting accuracy and placement in varied spots. Half day and full day options are available, allowing you to plan the outing around other activities and meal times.

Take part in a guided clay target shooting session at a nearby field sports facility. An instructor starts the session with a detailed safety briefing and checks your stance, grip and gun fit before you step onto the range. Targets are released at varying speeds, heights and angles to test your timing and accuracy.

You’ll focus on improving consistency, refining technique or simply trying the activity for the first time under expert supervision. Equipment and protective gear are provided on site. Sessions are adapted to your experience level and can be arranged for individuals, pairs or small groups.
