Full Circle Studies & Safaris
As a conservation professional with over 20 years of experience working in the field around the world, I often found myself operating at the interface of conservation and tourism. I founded Full Circle Studies & Safaris to take a more direct and active role in improving tourism's contribution towards conservation. Full Circle Studies & Safaris was founded in 2020 and forged out of the recent COVID pandemic with the conviction to play an active role towards building back more sustainable and impactful tourism opportunities. We take our name, Full Circle, from Joseph Campbell’s Monomyth he termed ‘The Hero’s Journey’. This pattern, clearly present in thousands of stories across hundreds of cultures and widely shared over thousands of years, posits that true transformation involves traversing three distinct fundamental stages including the ‘Departure’, ‘Initiation’ and finally the ‘Return’.
